And best of all, our participating members are offering special Magazine Month subscription rates!
Magazine Month begins October 1st at Portage Place with the distribution of member magazine samples and the opportunity to take the Manitoba Magazine Quiz to win great prizes. Members of the Manitoba Magazine Publishers’ Association will be in centre court until October 5th.
Manitoba Magazines will also be found in many favourite local coffee shops throughout October.
Another month-long activity is the Get Caught Reading a Manitoba Magazine event. Readers are invited to submit a photo of themselves or others reading a Manitoba magazine. All appropriate entries will be posted on www.manitobamagazines.ca. All entries will be eligible to win prizes.
What does it take to publish a magazine? What are the industry opportunities? Anyone interested can learn from the experts at a free panel presentation, Thursday, October 23 in the Carol Shields Auditorium at the Millennium Library beginning at 7:00 p.m.
